Advocacy connotes “organized efforts” to bang on for methodical or incremental change. Kalp wants to involve people in the advocacy process. The effort is directed towards specific and identified underprivileged groups of society. It proposes to provide advocacy on health, environmental, education, skill development, livelihood generation and gender issue, besides other issues of key concern for mountain communities living in fragile ecosystems.
