Biological Diversity

Biodiversity is the variety of life which lives in an ecosystem. It often talks about the health of biological system. Biodiversity is potential source of economic and ecological growth for a community. Himalayan region has rich floral and faunal wealth. While we analyze the ecological role of biodiversity, it is appropriate to safeguard and conserve the critically vanishing flora and fauna. Besides this, biodiversity mapping helps the common in environmental edification focusing on the benefits of fortification and sustainable use of biodiversity. Therefore, the scientific mapping has great connotation providing information about the use and distribution for scheduling protection actions. Presently, Kalp is involved in following activities:
